If anything, i
think it just lowers the image of Nikon and the D700 (besides being ethnically
misrepresentative of this allegedly multi'racial' state. These people
will never learn that difference engenders intelligence. No wonder they're not at the forefront of innovation and invention.) Let's keep it
respectable people. Photography is a medium of the Artist. Let's
not reduce it to the low-level of 'fast cars and fast women' shall we. That just renders it a symbol of empty prestige instead of humble introspection.
My sister sponsored this haircut... Got it done at Masa@Harbourfront... Felt so "naked" after changing the gel... LOL

My GeForce FX5500 gave up on me the other day. My good samaritan neighbor lend me his spare until I get a new one. Was supposed to yesterday but something came up again *bangs head*
In addition to that dilemna, my hdd, a 2004 80G Maxtor, is now showing signs of failure ><
For the past few months it frequently freezes, unsuccessful boot(hangs up while starting windows), files disappearing and auto shutdowns. I do 2 full scans a week. I defrag once a month. So what else could possibly be the problem?

It's too hot. Way too hot. If you are crazy enough to plan to take a trip to Japan before it gets to autumn, come prepared. Wear a hat. Pack light clothes. Drink lots of water, or sample all those "sports drink" from convenience stores (and while I'm on the topic- Pocali Sweat does not contain any sweat whatsoever. It's just a stupid name). Seriously. People are falling from heat stroke all over the country.
Show us your happy place.

Every once in a while, i like to make pancakes at three am. and then you can find me the next day sweating bullets at the local gym. i always wonder while everyone's staring at me, is it my ass in the spandex? no, most definitely not. they're wondering how many pancakes i ate at three am.
It has been chaotic at work lately. We are trying something new to make the production line move smoother. I believe it has all the potential to really work, but there are some people that refuse to go along with any kind of change. They just can't see beyond "that's how we've always done it". If we could get everyone on board, it would not only speed up the line, but it would make everyone's life easier.
Thankfully, I only have to deal with it one more day because I took Thursday and Friday off. On Thursday, I will be driving my wife and oldest son to the airport for their trip to Romania. Then, my youngest son and I are going on our own excursion to Islands of Adventure in Orlando. He loves roller coasters and I hear they have some really good ones. Now, I just have to get through today.
Student athletes attending Newark City Schools this year, face a new drug and alcohol testing policy.
School officials call the changes diverse in options, one that other school districts will look at.
A committee made up of board members, teachers, parents and coaches decided the districts old policy needed updating.
Now, students who fail random drug testing the first time will miss one game, instead of sitting out 20 percent of their season.
However, a second offense will now bench an athlete for 30 percent of the season with a third violation calling for a 12 month suspension. Upon a fourth violation, Newark students will be banned from sports all together.
Unlike the previous policy, that basically cleared the slate for student athletes when the entered high school, now all violations will be cumulative, meaning athletes in grades 7 through 12th have just three opportunities to clean up their act. After that, they are no longer eligible to play sports at any Newark City school.
Students participating in all extracurricular activities in Columbus City Schools face missing 33 percent of their eligibility upon their first violation.
A second offense calls for a one-year suspension and further violations will result in the permanent loss of their eligibility.
Students in middle and high school are affected, however the district does not randomly test students.
