White gold?

I don't know what to say, but my friend keep arguing with me about white gold. Okay, what can you tell me about white gold? My friend saying that white gold is worthless. Is that true?

My other friend has bought a necklace which is white gold, it costs her $160 and 1.5 weight the white gold. Its 375 white gold. The sales girl told her that there are two type of white gold another is 750 which will cost double because its mixture of gold. She is saying that she would only prefer buying white gold now because gold will attract the robber. I am speechless.

Anyone care to share your view.
